Let's Talk: Runaway Prevention Curriculum includes over 40 interactive youth friendly activities. NRS suggests facilitators order promotional and educational materials to reinforce specific modules.

Service Learning

The National Runaway Switchboard (NRS) offers a comprehensive service learning opportunity where participants engage in a service learning project regarding runaway and homeless youth by combining class-room learning and real-world application. Let’s Talk: Runaway Prevention Curriculum can guide the academic component. The civic engagement component can be fulfilled by utilizing NRS’ Street Team.  Please contact the Prevention Specialist at Prevention@1800RUNAWAY.org or 773-289-1723 for more information and a project sample.
